Leave with the Credential of the Way of San Domenico for a journey that traces the experience of life and faith of San Domenico. A spiritual and profound itinerary that follows the Saint’s last journey, developing along the ancient Via Francigena from Rome to Bologna.

The pilgrim’s credential represents the “pilgrim’s passport”. It attests to the identity and motivation of the traveler, it is an indispensable instrument. The pilgrim must have it with him to be identified as such. You must have the credential to have access to the reception facilities provided along the route. In addition, with your credential you have access to conventions with different activities. Public transport services are also provided in certain regions.

By handing over the credential in every place where the pilgrim is hosted, he will receive a stamp. By collecting all the stamps you will have the right to request the “Testimonium”.

Many structures welcome pilgrims by requiring a simple offer to support the management costs. In other cases you can access discounts on public transport or accommodation facilities.

The credential contains 28 punching boxes, more than enough for the stages of this wonderful journey.
